The future's bright...

This is one of my favourite pieces of artwork, comissioned by the Underground Electric Railway Company and created by Horace Taylor. It advertises the London Underground, sporting the very first and very Edwardian logo designed for the transport. Customers/passengers are smartly dressed in typical attire from whence they were painted in 1924.
The colours are bright and loud, which fits nicely with the concept of the underground being the shiniest and best form of travel in London!
You grasp a sense of time-travel with the painting too, or maybe (ironically) stagnation considering we are still using the system today.
